Description
Since I have no idea what else to call it. For my concentration for AP Art, this is a girl with fire for hair and a dress made of water. Tried some new painting styles (I'm not sure how they look to everyone else, but I kinda like them)So anyway, if anyone has a better title, comment below!
Painting style win or lose?
EDIT: So her hand in the background (it's her left hand) needs a little work. Everything else I like (I just don't know about her nose, and I realize her jawline sucks, so help would be much appreciated with that as well.)

It's almost as though her clothes are made of water and I find that concept real awesome.
...Not that watertype clothes would cover much even if it's magic water..

Thoughts:
I really like it, though I feel it needs work still.
As you mentioned, the hand in the back, i feel the shadow would be darker, as the backgrounds black.
I also feel the black having such a sharp edge is not good for it... I feel like if you could possibly have the black fade out on the edges, or maybe even make some sort of design with the edges, like an ornate frame, to repeat the textures throughout the hair and gown she's wearing? I also think that the ear is not necessary, as the hair is flowing up by it anyhow. I also think it could use a wee bit more contrast.
Just thoughts, I only mean to have some constructive feedback, as I see so so much potential for an absolutely wonderful piece.

I went through your gallery after you left me a fave and I really liked this! I adore the hair and the outfit. All of the flowing lines are really beautiful, as is the pose.
