Description
—A shaft of bright light filtered down from the beams of the ceiling, illuminating the dense piles of cloth and hides. The hides smothered the floor like the recumbent bodies of gargantuan beasts, and Trowin wondered what sort of animals they had once belonged to.
Slowly, one of the piles rose from the ground, and trowin recognized his mistake. The leathery body of a gargantuan Lotharian sat before him, and Trowin looked into empty eyes of endless wisdom. Full of awe, he bent into a bow as best he could, ignoring the bray of bruises across his back.
“Welcome.” Arvassa said. She spoke in a whisper louder than the howls of the wasteland’s wind “There is much you wish to know, and I have so much more to tell.”—
