hell yeah it would. Kinda remindas me of 'The Dark Crystal' (yeah the Jim Henson Movie). What would you make it out of? and would the road be sturdy enough to hold vehicles and people? I don't know if glass would work...

They could use pyrex or really, really thick glass and limit it to two or three people at a time
