Description
The only way to ever know what it is to truly love a rose is to embrace the thorn. Heaven's light shines on both and there is beauty all about. If the angels weep to see the rose bud, how can they not also smile upon the lowly thorn?The original stock of the lovely model is here [link] and you will find her account here
The wings are a fractal rendered by me on apophysis.
The rose buds are taken from several of my own photos.
This was assembled using Adobe Photoshop 9 and Twisted Brush.
(Updated, blended the hair and body just a bit more for smoothness)

The fractal of wings is awesome! The lighting in this is perfect the way it falls on the rose buds etc., eminateing from the angle herself! Beautiful piece of work....
