thanks tom. i really have no idea what it says because i was writing on it and erasing at the same time. what do you think of this direction i'm taking? i'm kind of going back to the way i worked on older pieces. it's a pain in the ass, but i figure that in order to make my real work and computer work appear consistent i have to try and stick with one way of working. it sucks having to limit myself, but i was getting tired of going all over the place. since you make collage things and digital noise maybe you feel my pain.

to answer your question, yes it's HTML throughout the image. i find it interesting you see it as lights in the buildings - i didn't intend it to be, but now i can see where you're coming from. it's actually a self portrait, but the title i wanted was already taken.

i've been meaning to post comments on most of your new works (incl. august while it was up) but deviantart takes so goddamn long to load, and i'm stuck on a dial-up connection right now, so it's hell.

I couldn't agree more about the clarity of a childs mind.
Regarding the omission of the top section of the cross, it must have just been overlooked as an unimportant element, or incomplete.

The statement about paratroopers is the most down to earth, yet spot-on interpretation of an abstract work. As I, subconsciously, was picturing the landscape from various arial perspectives, and trying to ballance the adrenaline and peace in nature.

Its hard for people to understand what is being said without a title or description when it becomes a little abstract or surreal they have to think.. It works like that for everyone. ~mugwumperx even invites people to make up conversations for things that nobody understands but himself at times. Its crazy, but thats not to say its bad.. Just hidden.

Now this is going to sound like I made it up, but I've always thought that raw data visuals look like the patterns on a pair of jeans. At least, maybe not always but ever since I started using the SoundHack program and converting images to sound and sound back to image, I always thought the image/sound looked like that...
