# About me
Welcome to FireTime, the only blog on tumblr where you can follow and get free bunny slippers!!! Not really, sorry, that’s out of budget right now. One of these days though….Anyway let’s get down to business with some epic history. In the beginning, yes the beginning of time, God spoke the world into existence, and made the first man and woman. Everybody knows this basic story (if you don’t, look it up in the bible in the book of Genesis). We all know how Adam and Eve sinned by eating from the one tree God told them not to. I mean, come on Adam and Eve, you had ONE JOB. Anyway, God cast them out from the Garden of Eden into the world filled with idiocy and unpleasant bugs.
So after a whole bunch of bible stories to help teach man morality, God sends his only son, Jesus, to come down and save everyone from our sins. And so, this man to whom I call my lord and savior, dies on the cross for all of our sins. But wait, there’s more. Three days later, he comes back to life! He then rises up to the heavens to meet up with his father.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” I’ve heard the argument from atheists that say, “There’s nothing beautiful about a story about a father butchering his own son because the rest of the world sinned. If he loved us soooo much, why didn’t he just forgive us?!” The answer to this is simple. We’re all stupid by nature. Looking back to Adam and Eve when they sinned, what would’ve happened if God just let it slide? I mean, it’s stupid to think that they wouldn’t try sinning again. Come on, if they got away with eating out of the ONE tree in that whole garden, what else could they have gotten away with?
God had to send Jesus to save us, because there is no way we could atone for our sins. We’re sinful by nature. Nothing we can do can other than submitting ourselves to God and believing in him. And luckily that’s all he asks us to do!
What does all this have to do with FireTime? I will be exploring different ideas about different situations we face today. I will be partnering with God, to help you understand the many ways to view these situations, and entertaining you along the way. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask, or if you want to give input on your beliefs, please email me at fire.time.rsmith@gmail.com
I hope you have a blessed day and remember to keep your fire for God blazing!

What would you think of a story where, in the 2,000 years since the last book of the Bible was written, Satan has sat down and reevaluated his life choices, and now sides with God against the demons the same way that Malcom X eventually sided with King against Black Islam?
basically red dead redemption with supernatural spirits.

Well... I think it's extremely dangerous because it contradicts Satan's character in so many ways. It also contradicts the character of demons, who are followers of Satan. I personally don't see any Kingdom benefit in a story like that, especially if it misleads people about Satan's character. But there are other ways to accomplish what I assume you're trying to accomplish. After all, Paul was the worst of sinners, a zealous Jew who tortured Christians until he met Jesus. I think redemption stories are amazing, but you might wanna rethink the main character. Ya know?

I doubt that people are that easily influenced. I mean, the tv show supernatural has God taking a vacation, Lucifer was kicked out for loving God more than anything (since angels aren't allowed to feel emotion), and demons are what every damned soul eventually becomes. also Cthulhu lives in purgatory.

I used to think so too, but the more I watched supernatural, the more I realized that they were making light of the reality of God. They were making God and his matters a fantasy, which I felt convicted for watching after a while. I'm particularly sensitive to such things, and I don't fancy shows that could possibly offend God. But if for some reason you feel that God is leading you to write such a story, go for it. But as an outside opinion, I don't think it's safe and there are alternatives if you want to do a redemption story. I really would not recommend it.

it seems like Supernatural does this whenever they go anywhere near any sort of religion.

Yea true. It makes me wonder how people of other people of different religions feel when a show takes their belief lightly...

You can see souls? That's interesting. Do you think that you are seeing them as they are, or do you think it's only a vision giving you a general idea of them? I am a scientist, and I have an idea as to how souls might be anchored to the brain, but you say you see them around the heart, which is interesting.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I'm seeing them as they are. There are parallels in scripture that talks about people seeing something similar. NKJV Acts 2:3-4, "Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." This was when the Holy Spirit was received at Pentecost. I've also heard others see the same thing that I do, but only momentarily. I, however, can turn it on and off by faith. But yeah I've seen souls primarily around the chest area, not that I know why. I know some people tend to believe that in the verse above that the fire was above their head, but I just see it in the chest. I'll have to do a little more studying on that.
You're a scientist? What do you specialize in?

I'm currently working towards my masters in biology, but I also now some things about physics, although I'm not especially familiar with the math behind it. I think souls might be hyperdimensional, which means they have more space dimensions beyond height, width, and depth, which might explain why we can't detect them. I also realized that if this is true, then perhaps I could use souls to gain access to other universes, which has been a dream of mine for a long time. Perhaps the main part of the soul is around the heart, and it has tendrils that are too small to see connecting it to the brain.

Well if you want to know more about souls, you have to know Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who gives me the ability to see souls, and Jesus was the one who led me to the Holy Spirit. Also, your desire to reach other dimensions through souls. It would be cruel if I didn't tell you so I'll tell you you're going in the wrong direction for the goal you want to accomplish. Souls are spiritual, supernatural beings. That being said if you want to understand or use them you have to use supernatural means like God and the Holy Spirit. Using natural means like science isn't going to touch something supernatural like a soul. So I don't think you'll get too far on your goal through means of souls.

You say that souls are supernatural, but I don't think they would necessarily break the laws of physics, especially since our souls are connected to our bodies. Although, it may be that souls abide by some other kind of laws.

Well, like I said get in touch with what the Bible has to say about souls and make your assumptions off of that. At least that's what I had to so when I first saw souls. Good luck with your dream.
