It's a relief hearing from you dear friend! I've been away for 2 1/2 years and only logged in a few times to do "housekeeping" in my page AND see if there was any news from you.
Hope you are doing well and a BIG Hug!!!

Thank You for your reply. And you do not have to be sorry. I fully understand that you have much more to do in the real world than online. I rarely get the chance to be online myself these days. Just the fact that you took the time to send me a message and provide positive feedback to my comments is greatly appreciated. Keep up the amazing work, and Take Care. Bye.Β

Hi, Anita: Haven't seen you here in quite a while. Hoping you are well and I imagine you have lots of snow by now. We are hoping to make a trip to Haines, Alaska next summer. Such a beautiful place we see in photos. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a great new year.

Most welcome Andy. I don't know if I should laugh or feel sorry for you! Seriously, get well and feel better! I try to avoid colds like the plague! The Koi ponds and water gardens are magical and certainly conducive for meditation. They are beautiful in an almost ethereal way.

Over the past 10 years, I have generally been able to avoid getting sick. Although I was blaming the kiss, I think it was more enabled by stress. I've been doing too many things too quickly and too hard. The market is a big cause of stress, but I have to hold my short-term positions and believe in my choices. It is difficult to ignore the gyrations on the way.
On Saturday, Barbara and I will be in our first golf tournament. The Saturday after that, my sculptures will be on display at a ceramics show. See? Always something.

Geeze Andy...you do need to slow down! But am happy for you being able to show your ceramics! They are truly deserving of a show! You take care of yourself....stress does make the body more susceptable to other diseases. I can work in an operating room assistiong the surgeon on the goriest of surgeries, no problem. But trying to outguess the market - NO way could I do that! I'd be in the looney bin!

My degree is in economics. I have a partnership with my best friend who is an accountant by training. We combine our talent so we have a micro- and macro- view of the world and investing.
He constantly reminds me to ignore the self-serving articles written by financial pundits. We go by our own research and our own interpretation of the raw data.
He's right. 90% of Hedge funds continually fail to anticipate major events. And 90% of economic writers predict for tomorrow what is happening today - just like weathermen!
