The people, the education, the vibe. I just like it. Although I have to say, I would never ever do first year ever again. That was hell.
But other than that go for it! Although I'd recommend you start working on your application portfolio now. What do you mean by what would I recommend/ups/downs?

Lots of work that you aren't necessarily interested in but you have to do anyways. Stress. I dunno, I've heard that the odd person actually does enjoy Foundation year.
Different? I dunno, I survived, and that's what counts I guess.

Its just a lot of work that you won't necessarily like and will probably resent. However, sticking through it and making it to second year is totally worth it.
