I don't have many profiles active on the interweb and since I strictly keep the others separated from here and from each other, I'll not share them here.

3D-vice In reply to shadowkyte1 [2016-03-18 12:34:21 +0000 UTC]
Nope. As I said, I strictly keep things apart. This is the internet after all! And by the way: I don't really use other usernames any more, as such from long time abandoned profiles, etc.

listen man your creations are awesome ! I love the settlers
but, have you thought about using your talent for creating buildings of your own style?

3D-vice In reply to FlaneTheAndras [2014-04-09 07:57:12 +0000 UTC]
Thanks man! Actually, I do use my talent to create stuff for myself. However, most of my time is consumed by my work, which is also creating 3d assest.

I'll tell you this, if I were to create a game I'd sure as hell think of you to create houses, terrains, maps, landscapes and what not

Do you have any kind of tutorial for the Palladium map you made a few years back? It's a really fantastic map, I'd love to know how it all got put together!
Thanks

3D-vice In reply to GaslightProphet [2011-07-08 07:14:38 +0000 UTC]
Uh, sorry nope. Since you are not the first person asking for a tutorial, maybe I really should do one. Have you downloaded the Photoshop-File which I offer here [link] ? There you can at least put apart various elements of the map and analyze the layer effects used.

GaslightProphet In reply to 3D-vice [2011-07-08 14:45:28 +0000 UTC]
I did
Thanks for that by the way! Seeing at least the layer styles, etc. definitely helped. Were all those roads rivers hand drawn/pixel by pixel?
π: 0 β©: 1
3D-vice In reply to GaslightProphet [2011-07-11 19:36:58 +0000 UTC]
Yup, the roads were drawn using standard Photoshop brushes and layer effects. The rivers are hand drawn, as well as the continent outlines, and then colored by overpainting.

For those of you who are interested in having a closer look at my avatar image, here is the chance: [link] The original image has a size of 596x640 pixels. It was not created by me. The originator is unknown.
By popular request, I have uploaded a print size version of the [link] Palladium Fantasy Map, as well as my original Photoshop file including tonns of layers. The summary information of the downloadable Zip-file is as follows:
- Palladium_Map.tif - 42,661 MB
- Palladium_Map.psd - 114,372 MB
- Color format is CMYK
- Image size is 4200x2600 pixels
The Photoshop file has multiple layers and layer-sets, so I recommend to use Photoshop CS or higher. The layers include names, tags, streets, textures, etc.
The downloadable Zip-file has an average file size of ~100 MB and is available here: [link]

I can give back the honors, that's an interesting gallery of yours. I see you have a lineart version of an Adepta Sororitas... actually, I work on a concept of a Sororitas character, too. *g*
