I live in Auckland now, but lived 20 years in Havelock North, just outside of Hastings in Hawke's Bay, so you definitely went past it, if not into it.
This is a beautiful country, and many visitors always want to come back - though I'm sure it's just as beautiful where you are!

And well it is nice where I live (otherwise I'd try to get away)... We're heading for autumn now. Is spring coming in New Zealand? Your pics tell so...

Yes, though Spring comes early this far north - still very wintery down South I'd imagine. We've just had some lovely spring days - more pics to be put up soon!
