Seth and Rose both went through hell
Seth kidnapped child forced to become a human weapon and partner by Rachel real mom, killing multiple low-rank clans in the abyss before he was kidnapped back into the human world and his mind wipe and living on streets alone dealing demonic voices in his head to the point he spent days curled in a ball in pain with his powers seal until he was around the age of 9.
Rose turn in to the human weapon by her father to make her the strongest exorcist in the world and avoid the monster infections, and Seth being one the few people to care about her
i got the idea from some my own experiences, (i kind had a hard time socializing when little, and dating, well i end up with knife in back literally speaking) and few other things but decide to how can amplify this to explain their behavior

i kind use my writing to are some my own angry and sadness of my past
seth is kind like me in way in sense we seen as different outsiders no belonging in any one world but not fitting anywhere
plus my past isn't the happiest either
