Hi again, I just looked at your gallery, your second painting was good I liked it, but "Solution to the retribution" painting of yours gave me something, had a hard time today, and it was good to see what i saw in your painting. I come by your side because of you asking me to check your gallery for tips and such on your artwork. And here i am, and will say two words, maybe you know them but: Analytic drawing & semiotic. Semiotic is what its all about but no one says at artschools..

Lol yeh ur rite about my squall being feminine...I think it may be the lips. I tries to make the lips more realistic than in the reference picture but because the rest of the face was not so detailed, the lips stood out too much! Oh well...
On the other hand, thanks a lot for your comment on chisa's character! What you said about her pose is what I was trying to achieve, so I reeli appreciate that! Gimmi more tips on colours! I'm stuck xD! I hate picking colours...chisa wants primary colours...but primary colours can be horrid if not used right...!!!

Hmm >> i think if you want to make his lips look more masculine then you should probably straighten it out >> um.. almost turn its curve upside down, because...well yeah he's more of a serious guy isn't he? but yeah its still quite good anyway.
Sure i'll give you more tips .. just as soon as i finish up with another thing so it should be soon >> i was thinking for her middle part (it kind of reminded me of Garnet/Daggers's outfit from FFIX), so yeah maybe a warm colour and then a creme colour (er.. remember i'm thinking like dagger's outfit here). Maybe for her jacket... i guess maybe several shades of blue (primary colours here, ack but the orange and blue could collide and really create something unpleasant. Hmm.. i'll think about this more okk? I'll get back to you soon.

This year? Really? Awesome! I've been drawing ever since I was like...1? lol. When I used to go to a Japanese school, I had cute small crayons I'd always have in my book bag with a sketch book...Those crayons ran out fast...lol

Before i started manga drawing i used to be a sketch artist >> i was never too good at painting but i got straight A's for my self portrait in art class. I also topped the Computer Studies Subject at school, with my lowest score being A++ >>> ahhh NERD. But yeah i only learn't how to do all of it that year. But while i was kicking myself for getting the award >> i got a lot of praise from most of my friends so i guess it wasn't that bad. Just talent i guess >> but i learn things quite quickly so its all good. I really can't remember too much of my childhood...ahhh why is that? i remember like.... 2 things when i was an infant ... but the rest i have to piece together from photographs.

Well...I drew drew and drew. I can sketch, CG, real potraits...I can pretty much do wide varities of art and like you, I topped in art classes. BIG PROBLEM though...my teacher really wanted me to become a realist artist...but to the tell the truth, I don't like real art much. Some of is really awesome and nice, but it never was my kind of taste. It depends on what it is though neh...? I can remember stuff from kindergarden...that's about it. But I was into anime ever since I was little. I think I really got into drawing it and getting addicted to it about a year ago though. But I always drew...drew...and drew.
