Hi there,
The tutorial is kinda crowded but I think I do mention that I use Photoshop for it. A number of other programs also have similar effects with layer styles so you should be able to apply the same ideas. Unfortunately I won't be able to walk you through the exact steps for whatever program you use. Good luck!

I did some work for avcon too this year. Some online ads and what not.

I'll probably be doing the same as I've done for the last two years, just creating art and presenting it to the committee (thus forcing them to use it). I think there'll be some artists taking more formal positions, like *Serio555 , who did this year's awesome poster.
