# About me

If you’re reading this, you either hate me or really dig my art (otherwise, how did you even get here!). Either way... welcome!

I am... a lot of things. Some of them might not appeal to you, some of them might surprise you but after all, that’s just the way I am.
I am a singer-songwriter. 99% of my music catalog is produced and performed by myself unless stated otherwise. Initially, I come from a heavy metal background, and that’s the genre that appeals to me most. However, I also make electronic pop, EDM, and experimental music. At this point in my life, it’s hard to tell what genre is dominant, I just do what I feel at the moment. Not all of my music is on Spotify but my most recent releases are avaiable for streaming.
I am a transgender woman. Well, that’s what it’s called. Me? I simply identify as a woman. The power struggles of my life, the ups and downs of my relationships, the challenges of transition, my explorations, discoveries, self-healing from abuse, and a whole bunch of other sensitive topics are quite often reflected in my music and lyrics.

Voice loss. In 2013 I went for a couple surgeries. One of them was to reduce my Adam's apple. Unfortunately, during the procedure, my recurrent nerve had been severed. The surgeon that performed the surgery didn’t provide me with any post-surgical supervision. One year later I still didn’t sound like me when I talked, two years later I still struggled to sing. I still struggle. Those of you who have heard my 2017 album release called “i Alice: Severance” probably noticed my awkward timbre, strange intonations, imperfect clean vocals, and obnoxious screams. I have created this album 4 years later after the incident, and still had a very hard time singing anything.

Where am I going. Essentially, I am a solo artist that is open for collaborations. I want to create a heavy metal band and go on tour in Engish speaking countries. The said above doesn’t make it less important for me to make electronic music, EDM, and hip-hop/trap music. The key matter here is making music. I didn’t build a band in Russia because it would have been a dead end for cultural reasons. Nonetheless, I’ve collaborated with Russian and Ukrainian artists. One of them is Philip Avgust, the frontman and leader of an industrial rock band Stimfoniya.
The darkness. A lot of the darkness in both my music and visual art comes from being a childhood and adult sexual abuse survivor. Some people might be uncomfortable with the fact, yet this is part of what I am as an artist.

Origins, current location & languages. I was born in Moscow, Russia and am currently a Russian citizen. Regardless, I do not identify as Russian. I recognize English as my first and native language. I speak a little French and basic Russian. Ethnically, I’m Italian/Polish.
Graphic art. Graphic art is something I do throughout my life when I have time and space for it. I have a few acrylic paintings and a bunch of graphic sheets.

Musical influences. I’ve grown up listening to Slipknot, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Joe Satriani, and happily jumped on the wagon when Bring Me The Horizon, Suicide Silence, and Enter Shikari came to exist. This music helped me a great deal through the ordeals of my life. I am also inspired by artists like Melanie Martinez, Halsey, Deadmau5, Lorde, Manu Crook$, Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, and Kristoffer Ljungberg.
Gaming. A few games that helped me cope with stuff and more or less influenced my last decade: World Of Warcraft, Warcraft III/The Frozen Throne, Severance: Blade Of Darkness, Dungeon Keeper II, Thief 3: Deadly Shadows, Enclave, Lineage.
If you’re still here reading this, thank you! I appreciate it a lot that you took your time to learn more about me. My website has all of my social links. If you like what I do, follow me! I want to give you the best experience possible in my world.

peace out!
