Thank you very much. I've been working with colored pencils since I was twelve. It does take a lot of time and trial and error to get it where you want it. I'm still learning new ways to use them. What brands did you try because that makes a world of difference.

I heard Prismacolor works well! My sister makes realistic portrait pencil sketches and I think she uses Prisma color. Iβll have to ask but she either uses them or wants them, one of the two. Anyways, keep up the amazing work!!
