I'm sorry, but as it is this journal is hindering us in clearing out the irrelevant stuff from the blog, and therefore I'll have to remove it. Charcoalstar surveyed the camp, sat on his usual ledge. Swiftfang thankfully had decided not to march up to him and demand an apprentice today, so there was a plus. He narrowed his eyes as he looked for his deputy, and good friend, Birchpelt. He hadn't had time to just talk to her and he wanted to relay to her about what Swiftfang had said about them. He also wanted to ask about Honeyclaw...

Birchpelt rested in a oak tree on the edge of the clan's camp. She watched and Swiftfang searched for her. After a few moments of her giggling to herself she jumped down to the warrior.
"Were you looking for me?" the she-cat joked to her close friend. Swiftfang nodded, replying.
" I was just wondering about the whole Honeyclaw thing...." He stated. Birchpelt's let out a low hiss.
"He can go eat fox dung! Ever since he was exiled for breaking the code I've been thinking of my kit." She spat.
" What about you and Car-"
"And could you stop thinking me and Charcoalstar should be mates, I told you we're just friends."

Charcoalstar finally spotted his deputy, resting in a tree, he was about to call her over when he saw Swiftfang. There was a reason his warrior name was Charcoalcall... Mmm, I forgot those two were friends, he though as Birchpelt jumped down to her, Swiftfang is annoying. The brown and grey tom's eyes widened a little as Swiftfang mentioned Honeyclaw. Wow, he thought, Birch sure has strong feelings about that... He then snorted in amusement and agreement when his name was mentioned, Amen.
"Birchpelt!" Charcoalstar called over to Birchpelt, thinking he'd save her from Swiftfang.

Just as Birchpelt felt like she was going to claw Swiftfang's face off she heard her name being called from across the camp. Birchpelt smiled realizing it was her clan's leader, and her close friend, Charcoalstar. "Charcoalstar's calling, now while I drag to there let's talk about Sheepheart." Birchpelt teased.
Sheepheart was a queen who Swiftfang had a crush on as a kit. "Okay, okay I'll shut up about Honeyclaw." Stuttered Swiftfang and they padded to their leader's special ledge.

"Birchpelt!" Charcoalstar greeted his good friend warmly, but then his expression turned grim and he didn't even look at Swiftfang as he addressed her, "Swiftfang." He huffed for a second, wondering if he should brake it nicely to Swiftfang that she wasn't wanted. "Swiftfang, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to talk with my deputy," he spoke out of the corner of his mouth, looking from her to Birchpelt's white fur, "And good friend."

The 2 cats briskly walked beside each other toward the leader's den. Birchpelt and Charcoalstar were both small felines with Birchpelt a bit taller. "What did you what did you wanna talk about Charcoalstar?"

"Not much," Charcoalstar replied, slightly amused she thought this was business, "Just wanted to catch up." He rolled his black shoulders as he fealt them stiffen, then looked back at Birchpelt. "How are you coping with Swiftfang?" He joked, "I'm guessing she bugged you with the fact that 'We are oh so perfect for eachother'?"

"Keep talking about like that and it'll never end!" Responded Birchpelt. Both of them talked about the state of the other clans and their own. Soon they got on the topic of rouges and lead to Honeyclaw.
"I'm not one to eavesdrop but what happened with the whole Honeyclaw fiasco?" Charcoalstar asked nonchalantly.
"It's complicated but here's the short version. All I've told is that he betrayed me. All the times I've gone missing was to meet him. And soon we had kits and I got Blizzardclaw to be my substitute while I was a queen, remember that? Many cats didn't ask about the father because of my short-temper but any cat's who asked I didn't tell. I had three kits. I brought them to Honeyclaw at night but he lashed out at me and took two of them after a long argument. I was left with one, Dewkit. I gave him to Stormtail, afraid of telling him about his heritage. Your the first one I've even told this story to." Birchpelt finished.
