I'm very excited! I thought we'd have to wait a few more years before we got another Far Cry game.
Though I hope this post-apocalypse version isn't going to be permanent. I like it, but I always liked that Far Cry took place in modern times. Yes the setting is always a jungle, but it still took place in the 21st century. Sounds a bit hypocritical, but it's what I feel.

Yeah, that's my prime worry too - I don't wanna be stuck with a post-radiation, semi-futuristic, Walking Dead-esque wasteland forever now - that's my only issue. I'm basically fine with everything but that in particular - I enjoy the remote, more or less believable (as much as you can be) yet deadly locales out to get you, whether it's a jungles, mountains, deserts, tyrannical dictatorships or something else - so, I gotta agree with you all the way.
