Thanks. She's a very pretty mermaid and would fit in well in the world of Chloe and co. I finally have an idea for a new story! It's something I've been thinking on for a while, but I probably won't begin it until the summer is over as I do like being outdoors this time of year. I'll be sure to do that. I hope to get another chapter up in time for the weekend, but none of it's written yet. There are events in this story relating to Chloe's past, they should become clear in the next few chapters. By the way, do you know if Pat and Azaiyaaaaaa are still active on DA? I miss their comments and hope they're both okay.

Azaiyaaaaaa appears to be depressive, she WAS more active on Fur Affinity, doing some quite good writing and art there, but not interacting and sharply faulting her own good work.  She's been quiet.  I don't recognize Pat? Nate-Wallis is one of the best active writers--besides yourself!

Oh, right. I'm not familiar with the Fur Affinity site, but I'll check it out. Azaiya writes very well, and I hope she's doing okay. pat2454 would often comment on my stories and correct my grammar. The last time he appeared to be active on DA was back in December. I hope they both reappear and thanks for the info.

Thank you for leaving a comment, it's been a long time since the story last got one! I'm really pleased you enjoyed it. I love writing about the mermaids in the story, but I'm not good at coming up with new ideas for them. I have started on a short story telling of Charlotte's life before she became a mermaid, but that has stalled of late. I do finally have another idea for a story that will feature the mermaids on the island, but I do like the outdoors and as spring and summer approaches I'm not sure when I'll get around to writing it. Thanks again for your kind comment and I'll be sure to check out your gallery.

Thanks for the reply and I'm sure you'll like my mermaid character Shelly.

Few differences between her and Chloe is that she's 16 and a mermaid princess but has a good relationship between the humans. Also she has hydrokensises (power of water) and her tail can turn into legs when dry.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear things are rough for you at present. I hope they pick up soon.

Thought I'd let you know that I've started to write a short back story for Charlotte, one of the characters from The Island sequel. It's going to run up to the time when Chloe found her and saved her from drowning. It's stalled a bit of late, and of course, there isn't going to be any mermaids until Chloe turns up.

I hope letting you know will motivate me to getting back to it and ending the story!
