# About me
Hello there!Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I am a student artist pursuing a dual career in studio and art therapy. I have been engaged in the arts since I was a child, however self taught until my college years. I have experience in drawing (anime, black and white photorealistic and abstract) as well as painting (water color, brush, acrylic, and oils), photography and my newest venture: ceramics.
Art for me has always been a way to express myself in a way that words could not, and my goal is to expand upon that concept as I further my artistic ventures.
I find the heart and soul of the individual a beautiful place, dark, bright, or otherwise.
As an artist, I strive to create something that is cryptic and symbolic. Something that looks like one thing at first glance, but upon further exploitation means another. I want to create images that individuals can bring themselves to and relate to, learning about themselves and maybe someone else. They form a give and take relationship with the artwork at hand.
Most importantly, my ultimate goal is to create art that delivers a message that rocks people at their core. I want to challenge my viewers about themselves and what they know about life. If I have made you laugh, cry, or angry, I consider that a success because I have reached your heart.
