I can see. My, you are quite quick on the responses. I am ashamed to say that it often takes me several days to get back to someone (if not a month if I vanish for mysterious reasons).

Indeed I should get back into the flow of update. I tend to start and stop projects continuously, so I don't particularly get many pictures through to completion. Though I suppose I could upload sketches.

I too share the enthusiasm! I don't know what I'll do next, so I'm always curious to see what pops out of my pencil! And I'm looking forward to see more terrific work from you!

As do I. They do make for the ultimate art tool.

Mmhmmmm I wouldn't know what I'd so with out it. My traditional skills are fairly ok but I prefer tablet because its so much cleaner and easier to go back and forth.

I think I may have Attention Deficit Disorder, but honestly I couldn't tell you. All I know is that I have a tendency to quickly lose interest in things that I've started. I'm trying to break that habit, but it'll take a while.

That would be quite surprising! I like to think that I have it on a pretty short leash (I've been using the same pencils for years) but they always manage to disappear every now and again.

Neither do I. To be honest, my tablet has improved my traditional skills as well. And my painting skills have affected my digital painting skills. So it all comes full circle.

Hnnm..yeah. I'm kinda like that in away as well, but I think its more of the the discouragement of current progress not being where I want it to be(something like that) and then getting distracted easily and again or lazyness. *punches procrastination in the face*

I feel it's best to remain prudent regarding such issues as tax season is upon us. I'm sure you can understand and I appreciate your discretion.

Maybe it's simply due to the fact that I have so many things that I want to draw that when I get around to doing one and it doesn't come out the way that I want I have a difficult time going back and doing the entire thing again.

I mean literally the same pencils. I never loaned them out and had only 4. They lasted me until just this year when I finally lost the last one. But I ended up finding one of the same brand and almost identical make, so it all balanced out.

It's understandable. With a tablet, you're able to produce so much that you rarely go back to traditional media to test your newly-acquired skills. Most of my art starts off traditional and is "digitized" so to speak.

Yeah, well I have been trying to practice with my Copics, and I would use my pencils but. As I was saying before all of my prisma color pencils (I've had for years and years now) are either broken, used to its fullest extent or lost. So I need to get my self a new full set. As for paint, I love to paint and test it out, I just rarely have any time other than in art class to use them. Junior year is crazy! (I'm pretty sure you already know that lol)

And yeah I usually do that but now beings my scanner and Desktop hate each other I can only use my scanner with my laptop which is crap cause of vista. It chooses when it wants to work. haha

I can see how being Obsessive Compulsive would be practical at times, though it can be frustrating. I can't tell you how hard I looked every time I lost one of my pencils. It drove me crazy.

I like copics, but I like painting more! I may experiment with them later, but for right now I'm content with my paintings.

I want them to make Vista take less RAM to run. It's pretty ridiculous.

I can't get the hang of copics yet. Granted, they charge an exorbitent fee for each marker, so I have a tough time bringing myself to buy them.

I think they can make it practical. Just eliminate the needless CPU usage for the OS.

I think that there are more of us than we know. We should make a group...and concoct a name of sourts. We shall be the Guild of Favorite Pencils! Though I'll admit, it sounds a little excessive and grandiose for something so trivial.

I still have to pay for other things, so my art supplies take a back seat. I'm not an art major, so I can't really use that as an excuse. I'll just be happy with my pencils and sketch books.

I don't think they plan on moving past Vista. I just hope that they fix the problems with it. I still use XP. I refuse to Vista until they make it worth my while.

It might be. Though there would have to be a rigorous screening process. Not just anyone could say that they were a favorite pencil person.

Marketing actually. I plan to eventually make enough money to become the executive producer, director and writer of my own film.

I got my computer before Vista came out, so I had XP. I don't plan on getting a new computer, instead I prefer to upgrade the box that I have underneath my desk. Kind of ironic that the processing part of the deskTOP is under my desk... Anyway, I need another hard drive, an HD monitor, better speakers, and the ability to use it like a television for video games and cable.

I like macs and I hate macs. I like it because of all the art programs on it, and then I don't like them because theyre so expensive and that not all things are compatible with them just yet.

I can understand that. I've heard the analogy about the oxygen masks in a plane. I have a tendency to white mage. So doing things for myself can sometimes make me feel somewhat guilty. But I think I'm getting better at that.

I just plain hate them. I can do everything that someone can do on a mac with my PC. I guess that's why I fail to see the real appeal of a mac.

The classic macs made my childhood hell! It was all that they had in the schools! I wanted to throw them all out the window.

To each his or her own (I try not to be sexist lol). Everyone has their own tastes and mine is an abhorrence for all things mac.
