Your gallery is marvellous! I've never worked with fractals myself, but I always thought they were one of the most beautiful things in mathematics - and I absolutely adore what you do with them: the colours you bring out, the forms you emphasise, the 'crystallising' of them... Yes, that's what I mean. A lot of fractals are delicate, full of light, but many of yours look solid and real, which is a great look.

You have actually grasped my whole philosophy as far as fractals are concerned! For me there are basically two ways to show doubts about the nature of reality: to abstract the seemingly real or to make real the seemingly abstract. The first approach is being done by traditional media. Fractals give me the possibility to turn the process around and blow life into a mathematical equation.

That is almost exactly how I see it. I have previously described the process of making fractals as finding the ghostly impressions where mathematics intersects with the physical world, and blowing some light and colour onto them to reveal their beauty.
