No, pero mi familia vive en Conce. Yo he ido solo para las vacaciones pero lamentablemente nunca he podido ir :C ... mi hermana siempre me comenta y me manda fotos ^^ Hay años en que es bastante buena, otros no tanto; depende de los organizadores. Te preguntaba porque en algunas de las fotos habia un puesto donde vendían artículos hechos en cuero, pense que podías ser tu

I think I'd have to fav all your pieces of jewelry! I study Jewelry Making in Quebec city, Canada, and Celtic jewelry is nearly an obsession. Your work is so well made, I'm impressed!

You study on your own or with a master?
For my part, yes I study in a real school of jewellery making called, "École de Joaillerie de Québec" (means Quebec City's Jewellery Making School), which is affiliated with a regular college so we actually receive a Diploma from the Minister of Education after completing the tree years of formation.
We study a lot of thing! Including regular classes of French Literature (as it is in a francophone province (provinces in Canada is alike states in the USA)), Philosophy, Sport, English, and a few others...
But also classes to become self sufficient in business, like book-keeping, digital graphic art, management, how to make folio to join professionals contests, etc.
And, the most wonderful; Jewellery making! We have classes about metal treatment (allowing a lot of exploration), precious metal treatment, stone setting, reproduction techniques, History of artisan crafting (this one is a common class between all the seven disciplines in artisan crafting teach at my college) and many others, all teach by wonderful passionate artisan who have already made their mark.
Here is a link to the website of my college “CÉGEP Limoilou”, (sorry it is only available in French) and there is a little video of stuff we do in classes. This school often has students from across the world, so if you really have the will to do it, it should be easy to come. And I’d be pleased to show you the city and around!

I studied for a couple months with a guy I met in a medieval fair and he taught me the basic stuff, dunno, saw piercing, welding and some simple stone settings... the rest is like... trial and error and, well, the internet
we don't have colleges for that here, your school must be the most awesome ever, I'd love to go somewhere like that and learn... I have so many gaps on my knowledge, coming from my patchy learning xDD
what are those other disciplines they teach there?

The seven "arts" teach at my college are: Ceramics, Cabinetmaking (but they learn so muck more then cabinets (the translation is awful)), Stringed-instrument making Guitar, Stringed-instrument making Violin, Sculpture, Textile crafting.
Every disciplines are taught from A to Z. When you get your Diploma, you know (almost) everything about your field.
