Thanks, it was the outfit she is in that I wanted tho. I don't beg for closed models as I don't want to break rules. That's why my "want but cant have" folder exists. Do have fun tho! And thanks again!

Honestly after looking back at the model and remembering when i got her (like 5 years ago) and what she was made from. the person who made the edit really didn't put in any effort because they used an older edit of Piron Teto for the head and belt and the (at the time) new Prion miku's body then changed the image colors to red instead of blue. MMD and its models are all free unless its windows 100% and Pirons models are free, so someone to get mad over sharing an edit model that was edited again is dumb. lol

But its a Teto model that I don't have, and that's all I need to know to want her. I love her, so I collect all the Teto models I can find. there was a C'mell one that someone had made that doesn't really look that good either. I still spent 3 months tracking down people that had her. I only found one person that still has her and he is in the Japanese community and wont break the rules and give her to me. It makes me sad but I don't want to break the rules either so I didn't beg him for her. The rules keep some semblance of stability in the community. Without them the community would tear itself apart in no time. It's just another form of art really. If everyone gave out all their art for free use it would be boring. False scarcity creates some interest and drives creativity. Such as if you cant edit one model then you find close parts and recreate it so you can!

i suppose thats true. The only thing i don't really care for much about the rules, other than editing because i can understand wanting to keep your parts to the models you make, is the redistribution issue. People like, for example, Nanami lists his models as free download if you can figure out the password but whenever someone figures out the password it doesn't let him know the model was downloaded or give him any incentive because MMD is free and so are the programs most MMD models are made from. A very long time ago i downloaded the program a lot of model makers use, Metesequoia, and while at the time i wasn't able to really figure it out (Because i was like 17 or 18), and really began to wonder why people make such a fuss about the models. A lot of model makers like Lat allow editing and sharing and Anomaro allows editing and sharing only if you email him (which i actually emailed him a several years ago about making an Utaune Nami model with his parts to redistribute) and he surprisingly replied and allowed access! But i've had a shit ton of people harass me before whenever i had made an edit with a part I, at the time, wasn't aware was "not supposed to be edited" and they would throw the biggest temper tantrum and call you everything they could think of, and at that point was when i realized how much the community didn't matter to me other than those who were decent and understanding.

THAT'S THE TETO! I have been looking for her for ages! Thank you! Your edit is cute too! I am glad she is not a lost model. I tracked down her accounts. She killed the yokoshimana account years ago and then killed the account that followed and now its gumicide I think. But the last time she was on that account was over a year ago. She is super cute! I love you for this! I don't do model sharing much but if the owner abandons the model and the community then I feel its fair to share them to keep them alive. I am so going to use her once I fix my tower!(the HD crashed) as for using parts and getting flack for it. I feel that it should be called to the attention of the part owner. If they don't make a fuss over it then whatever. But if they have a problem with it, then they can talk it out with the offender. Pointing fingers and yelling does no one any good. Often it just pisses off the offender and makes them want to leave the community or worse, spread the part elsewhere, making the problem worse. But good sense on the internet is hard to come by some times.

youre welcome! and yeah i understand that completely. the person whom i got the piron Teto originally from deactivated their account, and frankly i don't care about it enough to try and go find that one individual lol so like you said, its fair game.
