The palette. The use of limited colors but a large number of shades really gives a dark (color-wise), urban feel to the piece without giving it the dull, gray tone you usually see in cityscapes.

I love the aversion and subversion of many sci-fi tropes in your spacescape stories, especially the way some of your alien species fear humans, rather than showing a desire to conquer them back. I also enjoy how some of your species just do what they think is right. After all, morality is not always black and white.

I've done at least two chemosynthetic planets, actually. Earth isn't any different than it is now in the shared universe of my space art.
