He stared intensely for several seconds before he resumed his cheerful, carefree expression once more. "Well, as long as you and your group don't try to attack my country, I won't need to hand out any asskickings. Cigarette?" He held one out.

Dark made an odd sound that was somewhere between a gasp and a yelp, and jumped a bit before relenting and awkwardly returning the hug.Β

Would you like to drop by and see what I've been up to, personally?" He paused for a moment, before adding, "The digging part, not the blowing stuff up part."Β

"Alright." Dark reached into his jacket pocket, and pulled out some sort of communications device. He tapped away at the screen, causing a holographic projection to flicker forth from it. His fingers went about sliding and poking the projection, which reacted as if it'd been a solid piece of equipment. A tone rang out, and he spoke, "Yo, Canary-1, it's Messiah, do you copy? ...You got a lock on my coordinates? Yeah, requesting extraction." He looked at Aya. "Oh, and I got a guest with me, so make sure your stuff's presentable. Yeah. That's all, Messiah out." Dark tapped the projection, and then the device itself, ending the transmission. He put it back into his pocket. "Sorry, I can't use magic, at the moment, so we'll have to get there the old fashioned way."
