Back Story-
Valentine was one of Cupid's first "children". In the early days Cupid's "children" would help him spread love, and what not. But as the world started to grow, he needed to create more and more, thus loosing the closeness he once had with his "children". He had to start working more to keep the worlds love and relationships running smoothly, causing him to be alone a majority of the time. But he still tries to keep a connection with his "first borns". Valentine is one of these lucky kids.
Valentine was created, not born. She keeps notes on Ooo's relationships, and sends the notes back to cupid. Val takes her work seriously, this is for her " Papa" Who she loves, although hardly ever sees. Most other helpers do not consider Cupid their father, more like their boss, but Val is one of the few that have a power connection to Cupid.
Valentine, unlike most helpers, is mature. Most are childish and "filled with love" but Val has been around for much longer, causing her to become more human than the others. Which isn't entirely a good thing. She gets mad, frustrated, sad, lost.. like most people. But this interferes with her work sometimes. Although she'd never go against her "Papa's" words, it becomes harder and harder to watch war and fighting as time moves on.
