Of course! I've half a mind to paint her on my bedroom wall, I like her so much. Or, get someone else to, due to my complete lack of drawing, painting and general visual art skills.
I see you're into classical music - any recommendations for a budding classical enthusiast?

Lol, I hate to admit it, but I'm horrible when it comes to remembering the name of the composer/songs that I listen to. Actually, it doesn't matter what kind of music it is that I'm listening to, I can never remember who it is. I know, sad, but true. Although, you might check out Dream Melodies (I think that's what the series is called...) There are a lot of different CD's in the set, like compilations of different serenades, romantic pieces etc...

I'll have to have a look. Have you heard of Nightwish? They're not quite metal, but they apparently appear under "goth rock" - you might find them interesting, their ex-vocalist is classically trained, and their music often has traces of classical composition, flutes and the like.

You're the second person to mention them, I suppose now I'll really have to go take a look.

You're very welcome.
I knowwww!! I just about cried when I found out... Tarja is so magic, it won't be the same without her.
Nevertheless, Amy Lee is still producing wonderful music so we can cling to her magic.

AuroraSera In reply to NKVD [2006-11-22 10:21:50 +0000 UTC]
Thanks so much.
French songs? Sure. Usually depends on the singer, though, and I prefer songs in Italian (which I can understand ) but French is lovely too.
Almost any song in another language appeals to me - I love listening to the unusual sound blends, words and, when I understand the lyrics, sentence structure.
