Hey Linley, how are you and Steve faring now as far as the wildfires go? I can't believe they have been burning all this time and still going. I hear over half a billion animals lives have been lost; 25 human lives have been lost; and 2,000 homes or more have been lost; and millions of acres of land burned..Β Β This is truly devastating, my friend; my heart goes out to you all.

HI Linda... we live on the other side of the fires..we have had a few here but nothing like the east coast, its been so sad seeing it all on the news , too sad and we know ppl who have family over there and the smoke has been so bad.Β Β We had alot of bush cut back here, to help prevent fires but when they did this , it left bare sand and we have had such strong winds that we now get sand storms that cover the town, its been horrible.... but we are safe my friend, thanks for thinking of us

The sand storms are another horror for sure; though the lesser of the evils (If I had to choose) ..
