Long story short: Zero and Sonic technically are his parents, but there's no, uh... defiance of biology going on because he 100% robot. They're only his "parents" because he was modeled after them in terms of appearance and abilities.

Would you mind if I reference Virgil's design for a tarantula character I have named Fang, with your permission of course? I could never really do a proper design of him and each time I do sketch one out it turns out wrong XD and then I saw Virgil and he looks like what I think of as the ideal tarantula sonic character. Don't get me wrong, I will try as best as I can to make sure you wouldn't view Fang as a carbon copy of Virgil especially since I intend for Fang to look way more evil looking.
I will be sure to give you credit for Virgil's design also if you give me permission to reference his design.

Also maybe please to give Fang a different pose or something from what I've drawn? I know I'm granting you permission but I've known from experience that I'll probably get a bit annoyed inside if the lines/posing look straight up copied from Virgil. Β
