I like that song!
I'm afraid I'm rather bad at replying to messages on here, and my stack of deviations to comment on is gigantic o: But I'll do my best!
How are you?
Here's a song! But I don't know if the link will work! ):

It's all good, I'm just as bad with deviations. I feel bad 'cause there are so many talented artists on here...
I'm well! College is swell so far.
How about yourself?
And the link worked fine. Funny, I've been spending less time on FB, ahaha.

Yeah haha, I'm bad with everything, especially when work starts piling on! I've got loads of people on here I used to talk to who I haven't said anything to in so long! ):
I think I've been spending less time on useful parts of the internet in general
My list of procrastination sites now is tiny, so when I actually have free time I really don't know what to do with it haha

What've you been doing so far in terms of work?
I'm gunna get a job over the summer hopefully---as an intern at a Korean organization. ><
Aggggh, same here! I've been reading this super-long book and getting some characters together for a story I might flesh out and studying my butt off for this darn test. So...I guess you could say I need some new ways to procrastinate. I've seen some good movies! Haha.

Ah that's really cool!
Um, I don't have a job! ): I was meaning school work!
Ah well, I saw one of my favourite bands at a free instore gig the other day It was really good, they played with everything unplugged and just stood their with their guitars, violin and three-part harmonies, and it was so pretty! Then I met them afterwards and gave them some origami I'd made and got stuff signed, and it was amazing! They loved the origami too; I saw pictures of the deer I gave them sitting on one of the amps when they played their proper gig later that day

Wow, that must've done more than make your day. How rewarding. What's your favorite origami shape to make? I wish something like that would happen around here, but our nearest music store doesn't really seem like it would cater to those remarkable experiences. T_T But in the city, that's another story. ><
...how have you been? For these past six months?

BBKatsu1 In reply to Asherel-Lev [2012-08-06 12:00:28 +0000 UTC]
I made an origami stegosaurus the other day which I was very proud of, but have been stuck on one step of a triceratops for a long time D:
I think deer look really pretty, but I haven't made one for a long time, otherwise my fav I guess would be a swan because it's the only one I remember how to make without instructions Do you do much origami?
I've been nice and happy lately! Got my eighteenth birthday coming up in a few days too, and I'm having a pokemon-themed fancy dress party, so that's going to be awesome! How've things been for you?
π: 0 β©: 1
Asherel-Lev In reply to BBKatsu1 [2012-08-06 13:48:02 +0000 UTC]
Wow, how elaborate! When did you learn how to construct these? I'm not too talented when it comes to origami, sadly. I wish I was. It would've given me something to send to Fukushima. Have you ever wanted to see an actual dinosaur? I had to ask...
Ah, that sounds so much fun! Happy early birthday, too, by the way. I was reading about Japanese school girls and their fashion exploits yesterday, and there was this phase they went through where they wore all these animal outfits. [link] (Immediately what I thought of). What'll you be wearing?
Things have been swell. I thought one of my dearest friends wouldn't be coming back to school this year, but plans changed, and he's returning! I'm gonna be a Sophomore...Wow. And summer's been quite relaxing. How's yours been? XD (By the way, your signature is so sweet).

BBKatsu1 In reply to Asherel-Lev [2012-08-08 10:47:35 +0000 UTC]
I just googled instructions and then made them? I dunno! I made an awesome Ox which I got signed by one of my fav bands, and gave them an even more awesome Deer, which they took onto stage with them that night Haha of course I'd love to see a dinosaur!! Why.. do you know people who could make it happen?
Haha thank you Ah yeah, that looks really cool! My gf has a Pikachu onesie and it's adorable :''D
I made a Kabuto out of foam about 8" long, and I'm making a much bigger Magikarp, but I haven't put the fabric onto it yet The Magikarp is alarmingly large though D:
Ah that's really good Hmmm can't say I know what Sophomore really is to be honest, since I live in England D: But woo, hooray for growing up! :'D My summer's been going on very nicely! I went to a summer school kinda thing the other day run by one of my dad's friends, where you make a musical in four days and then perform it, and it was awesome!

Aaaah, well, that internet's certainly capable of many a feat. XD Deer are so cool! Those sound like they'd be difficult to make (at least to an amateur like myself).
And no, sadly, I don't know any paleontologists with that kind of power, but...maybe someday someone will bring a Brontosaurus back to life, and then when that goes down, I'll let you know. (In any case, I'll be riding on one).
A Sophomore means someone in their second year of university. Someone in their first year's a Freshman...glad I won't have to call myself that anymore. ><
WOW, that sounds SO MUCH FUN! What was yours about? Are you a fan of many musicals?

Thank you and welcome in return as well!
I see, well, it's good to have your old stuff, I mean sometimes when you're bring up new works you may want to remove the old ones, but they can still be dusted if wished to be. Still, I think they're good!

Ah thank you
Dunnoo, I went and deleted a few a while back, but I guess I'm just not much a fan of deleting things? THey'll just sorta stay in my gallery I guess haha
I'm not really uploading any new writing anyhow cause it's so much effort for my watchers to look through you know.. And I'm primarily a poet/writer, so I don't want to lose the last links in my gallery to writing haha

I usually filter through my photography and sketches with my gallery rather than my literature pieces, same reasons.

Hahahah, niceee though, I do my utmost best not to be a paedo online, it's so much classier in real life ;D
TBM IS AMAZING THOUGHHHHHH
SO BEAUTIFUL!
Nothing And Nowhere website was the coolest thing, too
What're your favourite songs by them!

- Happy Birthday
- To Die For
- Video Kid
- Lovers End
- Violet
- Blue
- Goodnight
- Unfamilliar
- Red Stars
- Looking Glass
- In The Dark....
Want me to continue? XD

BBKatsu1 In reply to AliceAlleycat [2011-06-16 16:51:54 +0000 UTC]
Oh dear, far too long a list there... ;D
TO DIE FOR IS SIMPLY WONDEROUS!
As far as video kid is concerned, the neo-gothic remix is better though haha
You know I'm not so amazed by unfamiliar, although the first few seconds of it are so beautiful
THEN, BLUE IS AMAZING
AS IS LOVERS END AND RED STARS, and also violet
And that's only taking a look at the ones you've listed haha, trying really to cut down and say as little as possible ;D
Mm, I have to say if when you're visiting someone's page and it's just AUTOMATIC to find stuff out about them you have a problem :\ Especially if you don't even realise it's something wrong.... :\
;D

AliceAlleycat In reply to BBKatsu1 [2011-06-16 17:23:49 +0000 UTC]
Okay okay if I really have to cut down, Blue, Looking Glass and Lovers End. But I'm being very hard on myself now.
You are being sarcastic about the last thing right? Because sarcasm really doesn't come over on the internet too well. Also sarcasm doesn't come over to me anyway because I'm socially retarted. x3
You were being sarcastic.

BBKatsu1 In reply to AliceAlleycat [2011-06-16 18:48:01 +0000 UTC]
Yesss, blue and lovers end, definitely.. I always rate Shiver above Looking Glass though, cause those were the first two I heard by tbm and I liked shiver more? Shiver is very underrated, but it's really good
And also Movie and Secret are really pretty!
π: 0 β©: 1
AliceAlleycat In reply to BBKatsu1 [2011-06-16 19:32:46 +0000 UTC]
Ahh I really like Shiver too though, there's just something about Looking Glass and the synth loop (in the beginning yknow) I absolutely adore ^^
π: 0 β©: 1
BBKatsu1 In reply to AliceAlleycat [2011-06-19 16:12:14 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I have to say I do forget how good looking glass is often
But I guess it's just missing that sorta distinct tbm sound, if you know what I mean? Dunno
Along with a few you mentioned (like Blue and To Die For), I have to put Under the Stairs, Nothing and Nowhere, Promise Me and Nevermind up in my favourites haha
Also, weekend deserves a mention cause it's cool and in triplets! Under the stairs has triplet drumming too!
π: 0 β©: 1
AliceAlleycat In reply to BBKatsu1 [2011-06-19 17:03:33 +0000 UTC]
I don't know what you mean actually haha XD Looking Glass is the first song I heard by TBM, maybe that's it.
Weekend's awesome too! Though, I don't know what the hell "triplets" is >//< pretty bad for the music teacher's daughter huh? but I don't know about that sorta stuff XD or, my English just isn't sufficient this time and I know about it but only the Dutch term.
π: 0 β©: 1
BBKatsu1 In reply to AliceAlleycat [2011-06-21 18:59:52 +0000 UTC]
Ah whuut? I dunno about the soundd, just like it's missing the haunting sorta nostalgic synth sound? Cause the synths in it are pretty straight synthesisers, as opposed to for instance in Blue where they definitely make a Horror Film sorta soundtrack, or the ambience you find in Black or the other instrumentals
Hahhaa ah you probably know triplets
It's just like the emphasis is on every third beat as opposed to the second and third
So you get six beats per bar as opposed to four, and all that..
Ah you know, I have a Dutch friend, he is always going on about a band called Golden Earring..
π: 0 β©: 1
AliceAlleycat In reply to BBKatsu1 [2011-06-21 19:53:15 +0000 UTC]
Ah yes I think I know what you mean now, but in that case I just really like it for a song with "pretty straight synthesisers" :3
And PROBABLY. I'll pay attention from now on!
Hahahaha, that probably because Golden Earring is "Holland's pride" when it comes to music, well, according to my mom XD. If I remember correctly it's because they once had a worldwide hit ages ago, you know, when there were still dinosaurs and stuff.
π: 0 β©: 1
BBKatsu1 In reply to AliceAlleycat [2011-06-26 14:21:08 +0000 UTC]
Hahahah yeahh, I rather figured about Golden Earring.. ;D Mm I heard Radar Love or something, it was pretty good actually
Haha yeah, definitely a good song still I always overlook it though, partly I think cause my version is quite a bit quieter than the other songs on my mp3 by them so whenever it comes on it sounds quiet and weak >.>
I do love the music video though! A lot better than the music video for Blue (AND DEFINITELY NEVERMIND, THAT WAS AWFUL AND WHILE I GIVE THEM PROPS FOR RECORDING IT LIVE IN THE VIDEO, IT SOUNDS SO MUCH WORSE THAN THE ORIGINAL TRACK, WHICH I LOVED SO MUCH)
π: 0 β©: 1
AliceAlleycat In reply to BBKatsu1 [2011-06-26 14:30:14 +0000 UTC]
I checked it with my mom and she said very proudly that when the drummer of The Who, Keith Moon died, they asked the Golden Earring drummer to replace him, but he said no because he wanted to stay in his silly Dutch band hahaha XD loser
And are you kidding me, I loooove the music video for Blue, I watched the making of and everything. But okay...maybe it's not as good as the Looking Glass video...especially because the concept is pretty vague, it's like, hey, look at dolls being creepy but not meaning anything in particular, and Looking Glass is way more obvious and badass in the HAHA STUPID BAD TEACHER GUY, WE'RE GOING TO KILL YOU AND THAT'S COOL, IN YOUR FACE-kinda way :3
(And totally agreed on the Nevermind video... I don't even remember really because I didn't bother to finish watching it...)
π: 0 β©: 1
BBKatsu1 In reply to AliceAlleycat [2011-06-29 14:48:11 +0000 UTC]
Hahahaha oh dear
Well I do love the video for Blue, but Looking Glass was a lot cooler!
I did have a friend make a mockery of all the clocks in the tbm videos >.> But she's cool AND SHE'S A COMEDIC GENIUS, so I let it slip haha I was surprised she hadn't mentioned the dolls really o:
