I do agree with you on that. You do not learn much of anatomy and different styles from sonic, though it's kinda fun to draw their eyes, muzzles, hairstyles, etc.

ahaha on and off but generally, its fun to improve but i doubt i'll be GREAT at sonic and it's not soemthing i want to devote my life to being yanno? it's good to get out there and practice new things, give yourself a chance to be the shittest of the bunch again.

you gotta just realise that unless youre a professional you dont HAVE to draw things in the styles provided, you need to develop your won as well so you dont really need to draw in sonic style, its sorta encouraged but you dotn have to so long as if it looks nice and you feel comfortable drawing it. tbh theres also nothing wrong with learning how to, just so long as if you dotn trap yourself in that style
