Right now I'm taking Introductory Physics with lab and Marine Biology - Invertebrate Zoology with lab. The bio lab is almost entirely dissections.

Ooh, introductory physics would be fascinating. I think dissections would be, too. I always opted out of those back in school, except for when it was a grasshopper. I regret that now.

Well... Physics is basically an entire class about word problems. I don't really find it very interesting. I find Chemistry more interesting.

I don't enjoy doing the dissections (mainly because the animal is asleep and not dead when you're doing them >_< ) but they are admittedly quite interesting.

Really? Asleep and not dead? That, I'm guessing, is so you're familiar with the workings of a living thing instead of just understanding where the bits and pieces are?

Physics sounds lame... I don't understand how physics would just be word problems. Do you get to do all sorts of interesting labs in chemistry?

You can request to have the animal euthanized, but special arrangements have to be made for that. The bits and pieces are in the same place being alive or dead. It just depends on you not to mangle and destroy everything when you're cutting.

I hate Physics... it's worse than regular math. It's very vague and not straight-forward. I don't like have to manipulate things so they make a pretend triangle. Chemistry is easier for me to understand because it's more in front of you, more tangible. It still needs math, but mostly just algebra, which isn't so bad. The labs can be a bit tedious because if you fudge up, you have to start over. You have to be careful with measurements and reading instructions. But usually the end result is very interesting and easier to understand the point of versus the Physics labs.
