The "Art of the Hobbit" ... ehhhh ... Tolkien was a brilliant writer and I adore his fantasy. But his drawings? Not all that great, you know. His maps were interesting as a guide while reading, but I'm not very keen on his other drawings. They're not exactly bad, but too flat for my taste. So I'll pass on that one, I guess ...

I didn't think that anyone would actually start watching because of the line art pieces, but it just goes to show how different people's taste and preferences are. They were exercises we did in art class and I don't even think they are all that special. However, I'm glad you like them.Β

We have class every Saturday morning. I suppose there are certain "technical" assignments that need to make part of the education and of course Teach kept postponing them until he no longer can. We'll probably have some more of these sessions before summer recess. I know for a fact that we'll be drawing each other next week ...
