Hi, I'm Annie. Aka Biog33k or Bio.My grandmother taught me to sew when I was four and crochet in middle school. Unfortunately, I was stubborn about learning and didn't stick to it that much. I am thanking you for a favorite as a gesture of appreciation. I did actually notice that flashing box above the comments. Thanking people for favorites is a great way to gain popularity, and is just plain nice, which is why I do it. I would be a lot more tempted to look at your gallery if it caught my eye and piqued my interest, rather than it being sort of shoved down my throat in that manner. If people want to look at your gallery they will, but it's a little obnoxious to spam.

First of all, thank you for actually reading my little box. I actually have a few reasons for that.
Thanking people for favorites is a great way to gain popularity, and is just plain nice, which is why I do it.
Personally, I've seen more people gain popularity by being involved in the community than by commenting on someone's page, but to each their own.
I also try to comment on every work I favorite, like with your mask. You'll see in my stats that I comment three times as much as I favorite. So why can't the person thank me in the comments like you did?

Which is why I keep it as far down the page as possible.
