# About me
ABOUT MESup' name's Jazzmin but you're welcome to call me Jazz. I'm a sophomore in College that loves drawing.
Although I fond of art, I want to major in Veterinary Medicine, and minor in Art & Video Game Design. Each year of my high school experience I have taken art, I've went from Art I - Independent Art. I am a lover of many types of art: My art varies for I attempt different kinds of crafts but the only thing that I can say I'm half-decent in would have to be: Traditional & Digital Illustrations.
There are many things that interest/influence me, my many influences are from my favorite animes and video games, which is normally what makes up my gallery. Don't be surprised to find my characters that I have made for shows/games that I love. I attempt to make original characters from time to time but it's a bit of a challenge for me. Out of all the things that you'll see in my gallery, my best bet would have to be: Sonic.
Yes, I am a fan for that Lil' Blue Ball of Quills, always have and always well; Sonic will continue to run through my life. Something about Mobians really interest me, maybe because they're like chibi anthros; two of my favorite things in one. I have tons of Sonic fan characters, but not only Sonic but normal characters. I love all my characters the same, because they are my babies. I am the one that thought them up, so they are all apart of me which makes them that much special.
A flaw of mine is that I tend to get very lazy when it comes to art at times. I only draw when I feel like it, when it is pressured upon me drawing begins to feel like a chore. I have many drawing I'd love to share on DeviantART...however I just don't feel like coloring all the time. I feel that digital art should be on the computer and traditional should be in my millions of sketch books. I'm weird, I know but that's just how I think, besides I believe that my traditional is better than my digital, I still have ways to go!

I've been doing really well, but I'm going to be job hunting soon because I'm about to finish school and that's a very scary prospect for me haha. I abandoned this account and used a new one a couple of years ago, but I don't use DA much at all anymore in general just cuz I lost interest in a lot of the fandoms I was in and also reached a point of just wanting to share my art with close friends. But now I'm helping out with Seedrian stuff again cuz I reconnected with some friends from that time, so that's just been fun. I like to be encouraging young artists and stuff

Uuugh, just a little stuff from school to losing my grandma and I just recently lost
my cat so I'm still kinda upset about that; considering that she was my first pet
and now I'm in this house alone. Work is work...I finally got myself a job and it's
better sweet I tell ya'. I'm more tired of the way the staff is run than actual customers
but they still find a way to get under my skin. But I'm glad to here things are going
well to a point. Trust me, job hunting is worst than the actual job, and I was terrified at
getting my first job at 21 lol.
And I feel ya on that. DA isn't want it used to be and I don't have the same
passion for fandoms like I used to. I always come back to the Sonic fandom and
ask why I left but after 10mins I remember why. I don't draw much these days and
what I do I only show to close friends, too, that are within arms reach. But that's
great to see your helping young artists get motivated and find their spark

Oh I'm so sorry about your grandma, and about your cat ): One of my pets is having a hard time, and I'm just sad knowing that soon I'll have to deal with that too. He's my last pet from when I was little, so it'll be hard.
Where do you work? I'm glad it's not so bad.
Oh yeah like 95% of my art I don't post on DA, I just show it to my friends. I think part of it is just not wanting to deal with the BS that comes with fandom sometimes, and part of it is like...I guess I used to feel like I needed validation to draw and I would get discouraged if I didn't get it, but at this point I draw just because I like it. So as long as my friends can see it I don't really care.
