I'm getting there though, I think I'm ~4/5ths of the way through now.

Very inspirational and pro-looking :D (Big Grin) It's a real shame, I love photography with a passion, but there's literally nothing near me that can offer beautiful views like the National Park in your pics. lol, I hear ya... Not much around me either. Takes me an hour and a half drive to hit the national park, and I've been flat broke for the last couple months so I haven't been able to go. >.< Thanks for the compliments! I've actually never been taught anything about photography, I kinda figured it out on my own (and knowing basics like rule of thirds/lines, etc). I'm in the process now of learning to take shots so I don't have to crop so much. My next lens should help with that, though.

Mm, no problemo. Yeah, they look awesome, I've never been taught anything either but just love being let loose with a camera. Is me sorted for the whole day :D (Big Grin)

best advice I can give there is if you only have ordinary things to take shots of... Shoot them in strange ways. Take a new perspective or play with depth of field. :) (Smile)
