Danke fΓΌrs watchen.

Thanks for the watch. I noticed you seem to be just starting out in blacksmithing. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Good luck in your endeavors.

Thx for the watch, too. I really appreciate your offer.
I googled this "Guild of Metalsmiths", do you have to pay for these workshops or is it just the annual fee??
I wish there would something like that in my region...

Yes the workshops cost money, but comparatively to classes anywhere else the workshops are cheep as hell. Take for instance one 3 day workshop at another place cost me like 400 bucks or more, One at the guild just over a hundred. www.IFGS.de [link]
Well through a little bit of searching that's all I could find on blacksmith groups in Germany. On that note you might want to check out [link]

BoreasAnemos In reply to ipneto [2010-07-06 11:00:28 +0000 UTC]
yeah, found those links quite a while ago by myself...
the problem is that the all of these groups are located in southern germany and its too expensive to drive down there (not to mention the workshop prizes)...
well, i've got my books, i've got the net - the most important thing is practice, practice, practice...
good luck with your smithy

I understand the frustration. took me way to long to find a group myself.
Maybee try and find a smith near by you that you could work with or such. I know it is expensive.
Well if I can help just let me know. Its hard to get started sometimes just gotta stick with it.
Thank you. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Any questions just ask. I don't know much but what I do know I am willing to share.
