oh by the way wanted to ask....?
how do i go about designing a sleeve?
i have said for years that i want one and i have a general idea of how i would like it/what i want on it but im unsure of how to proceed from there...

Humm lets see, there's two ways of doing them. Old School which is just adding to a sleeve little by little like sewing patches onto a jacket. Which is messy and doesn't flow well. Or the new school way of planning it all out first. Normally the artist will trace out the size of your arm to see how much space they have to work with and then just start from there. There's millions of ways to do sleeves, were you wanting a 3D kind of affect? Or want everything layered over each other like a collage?
damn woman you threw me a very complex question... Not really sure how to answer.

im wanting to avoid the old school way i dont like that whole look it just doesnt seem very well thought out. and u gave me a complex answer back that i now dont know how to reply too... ur the tatt pro here aftre all :) (Smile)

ideally i want it all to blend in and look like a whole rather than a bunch of works all put together...but still have that pop factor of certain things..? am i explaining this right hmm...

And ok new school much better. Honestly I would just give your artist all the reference material up front along with any ideas you have and just let him sketch it all out a few different ways before you decide. I know what you want the only problem is getting somebody who knows how to do it right and who won't just slap a bunch of flat stickers on your arms.

Yea pretty much. Just keep on them and don't give in if they wanna stick something on you that's less cool. And they will try trust me... If you don't like the sketch obey the number one rule and never be afraid to say the magic words! "I don't like it."
