I did think once woodchuck because their cute as yeah...although i did also ponder crocodile as i kinda suspect that it's my totem animal thanks to a strange dream i had. Had not seen the folder before, but now I did, and yeah, there are some cool designs there, complex designs too, since you're still learning I would sugest an easy to draw character so that you may use it for practice and stuff regularly, since if is too complex you might not want to draw it as often, so if you deside to combine characters features into one, you might wanna do it as less as possible so that the design doesn't get too complex and even dificult to even look at.

Mhm yes true i do rather love my fair share of ref sheets if you couldn't tell already xD i was thinking maybe browns and they like to wear grey/charcoal clothing to match me more. Since i would prefer to be able to connect to this character more than being looking badass and stuff

Well, in my case I like having a practical character, a character that can change with the time, or even have transformations, my current character even has diferent periods on his life being posibly a robot now and having a sci-fi setting where when he was younger he was just a human (or not, I'm still not sure) in a fantasy setting.

Mhm i see i was thinking about two possible forms once for my horror esthetic and the main one for me. As of course i will be using them for roleplay and i like my horror movies and gore a lot. Especially zombies hehe

Well, there's a lot to take inspiration from for a horror theme character, but I don't think I'm the most indicated person for that since horror isn't my speciality nor is a genre I like that much.

Mhm i see.. maybe then but i was actually thinking last night and i did this drawing for i kinda thought of them before although more realistically (Which is why i wished i could draw from my imagination but this porberly the best your gonna get of them) For i thought maybe i should just use my zodiac so leo for instance and then + my chinese zodiac the goat. Although i'm not so sure about the colors yet and the ears i'm still not so sure about yet either...i was thinking a purpley blue and originally for them to have droopy ears but i only did them like this because they weren't cooperating with me and i didn't wanted to ruin the rest of it. But what do you think?

Looks cool, but I don't think character design is the problem here, the problem as you described it is that you can't connect with them, so I think you should first think on what would you like to be, maybe think out of the box an it can even not be really an animal?

Then try to base it on Blake, it could be like a furry version of Blake, or you could make it in contrast to Blake so is not too similar, you could also just make it a transformation for Blake, like a wereworlf, but if is a lion it would be a werelion or a weregoat, ect. what do you think of that idea?

Yes i did actually think of making her an anthro form and a ref sheet. I imagined her as a wolf though heh which is fine i guess. Although i forgot the fur pattern which i thought of at the time....dammit...Mhm alright maybe i'll do that...maybe my fursona should be an alien zombie xD i just love those types of movies..
