Hi, I was thinking that would you be interested in joining the group ?

Some of your works are really interesting, I particularly liked [link] and [link] . You somehow manage to pull out the lighting very well.

as for you Caelann, well, how did you come up with your charatcter person/thing?

Caelann In reply to manny6574 [2011-02-01 18:00:37 +0000 UTC]

What do you mean?
I make characters as any other person (at least I assume so). Looks, personality, background, it comes when you care to explore a character.

But generally? Practice, practice and more practice.

Well the BB code doesnt work on the comments on AG so I'll post some links to good tutorials to get you started on some sorta texturing. Since you have been drawing animals perhaps these will help

[link]

I know its not your style to do ultra realistic stuff but maybe you'll figure out a way to make it you own, goodluck!

Lack of intelligent conversation has driven my motives into the ground...gah I shoulda known living with siblings sucks...especially one who screams so much its like a child being angry at a broken toy yet the child is too ignorant to realize the fault was his own.

Anyways hows college life treating you?

It is going as it usually does. Too much doing nothing, too much homework, too much dirty.

Hectichermit In reply to Caelann [2010-09-22 14:22:24 +0000 UTC]

well I have at least a few teachers that know college students tend to hate homework and try not to give too much, one actually lets us use notes and books on exams

Caelann In reply to Hectichermit [2010-09-22 16:10:04 +0000 UTC]

We don't but they are basically counting towards our exams. Which means that those 5 papers this semester will determine whether or not we are going to get out BA (along with the other semester papers/interviews).

BronzeMartin In reply to Caelann [2010-06-23 21:12:23 +0000 UTC]

Money is very good

Especially when you need money for glasses. Got some Ray Bans, I like them but dang! In total I went down about 500.

What is Adecco?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Caelann In reply to BronzeMartin [2010-06-24 18:39:21 +0000 UTC]

[link] Basically I work as a substitute/temporary worker at factories, kitchens and where ever they might need a worker.
It is somewhat hard to get a job in my own field because I haven't graduated yet, and because I have no other education, they just send me out to do manual work like cleaning dishes or class rooms, or put parts together.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BronzeMartin In reply to Caelann [2010-06-24 22:44:39 +0000 UTC]

Ah man, hope you can get out of that soon for something better, unless you like cleaning dishes (read Job: A Comedy of Justice [and thats pronounced like the Job in the Bible]).

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Caelann In reply to BronzeMartin [2010-06-25 08:43:48 +0000 UTC]

Well, I have to study in between, and stuff like that, so having those rather limitless working hours is actually great. The work may be hard, but if I have classes or an exam or something, I don't have to ask for a day off.
Heh.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BronzeMartin In reply to Caelann [2010-06-25 14:41:25 +0000 UTC]

Sounds like a good deal then

The best part for my job (and maybe yours) is that you can day dream through most of it. Well...not when I'm making measurements lol.

It is rather nice, yes. Don't have to think, and just let the body get tired instead of the mind.

I can imagine. Sadly, I need to live, so my collection isn't that big. So, instead, I decided to become a librarian. I can have a ton of books (thought I don't own them), and they won't clamp my space!
