It was actually my flatmate that made the chainmail, I made some of the plate armour and the incomplete tunic. It was for a larp and I didn't have time to finish making the costume. If I was wearing it into battle I would definitely want a gambeson underneath and possibly a helm and a sword that wasn't foam

I have only been to two so far. There is a jousting tournament next year that I may go to, but probably just to watch the re-enactments.
