Heh. I mostly have other people's works hanging up in mine, but I have this huge-ass Kill Bill banner I made back when I was running the movie committee back at Kansas State that I've got hanging up, taking an entire wall. I kind of feel sorry for it, having to be around stuff that's much better drawn by competent artist.

I've got a John Allison (of Scary Go-Round) watercolor in my living room, Wes Molebash's You'll Have That placeholder strip art from after he ended the comic and stuff by Dan Schoening, Khary Randolph and Josh Howard. At some point I'll be getting an original Jonny Crossbones page from Les McClaine as well. Just have to tell him which one. Right now I'm trying to get frames for all of them.

I dont know if there is a Micheal's near you but they have a lot of their premade frames on sale. I have picked up a TON of really good frames there. Its worth looking in to

I don't think I've ever been to one. I wouldn't be surprised if the closest was at least four hours away though, since that's the distance to Denver and/or Wichita.
Living in the middle of nowhere sucks ass.

i think it is generally just the stores trying to get rid of inventory.
Check Jerrys artarama and dick blicks. Jerrys usually has exceptionally good prices on frames as well. that is where i normally pick up my frames but its just hard to turn down a nice decorative frame.
So yes, Jerrys would be my suggestion if you have to order stuff
