A.Adams could have said the same thing at one point as well. For my money you have some of the most interesting composition and seem to catch some people at the perfect moments to enhance it still more. Portugal seems like an amazingly beautiful place as well.

I am the same way as far as the story. I am trying to get away from my own life story though. Thankfully now that I am turning everything around I am finally seeing things in a different light again. Washington DC sounds like the exact opposite of Portugal, big city but a lot of it just seems almost fake to me. Some of the smaller parts of town and the locals can be really great, they usually don't like it when they catch you taking their picture though haha. That's what I want to go after now, showing/telling more of the story about DC that isn't seen on the news around the world.

I don't know Washington DC, i only have been in NY . Chigago . LA . S.Francisco . Las Vegas . Grand Canyon . but i think it is an interesting city, i think you can catch the contrast of the big historical buildings and the small humans, it's an interesting approach i think.
     
Of course people don't like to be photographed but that is also interesting to catch them without they noticed that

Wow, you have seen more of the US than I have. I have never really left the east coast except when I went to Argentina. DC definitely does have some big buildings and beautiful museums though. It looks like I may actually be trying to capture more of the gun control protests going on right now. I'm very skeptical but, if she is who she says she is, a Nat. Geo. Executive has seen and asked for some of my photos from the "March for Our Lives" last month. I can't believe it is real but I sent her what I had left so I guess we will see what happens.

I will definitely try to keep the contrast in mind. Light/Dark, Big/Small and with the subject matter of these protests probably Good/Evil or Weak/Powerful.

Thanks again for the pointers. It definitely helps give me something more to think about it when I am out.
