Since my fingers began to move, lol. Just keep practicing and I think you'll be surprised at how good you'll get! And remember, never over-idolize anyone, even if you think they're 100x better than you. The biggest compliment you can give a fellow artist (aside from liking their work, lol) is to consider them a peer. The only difference between me, you & someone else is experience & how hard you're willing to work

Well the plan is to get more content done first and then we can see about getting it in previews maybe. That'll be my best bet to getting it in stores nation wide

I mean yeah. But might have enough to test small aswell. I'll be honest with you. Unless you've got some type of major marketing backing you. Sales won't be too big because the customers that do show up already know a spiderman or batman and won't know what you've got out.

Well, that's why I'm trying to focus on creating as much content as I can (i.e. finishing at least 1 volume or graphic novel worth of stories) before I start entering it in stores. Got the go ahead from a few local shops to accept the first issue of my book, but it won't really be worth it if I can't do that in multiple stores or have enough product to continuously sell. And as far as marketing, my ultimate plan is to get get a few volumes finished and then pitch my series to image, dark horse or even Zenescope to help with that. In the meantime I am selling at cons, comixology & my own personal site.

It's titled Summons am I right? It needs DC. Go Big with it. Tell'em it's just the brand that an outlet that has superman and batman need. It's lightning and they know it. Especially a market like Shazam!

Well, being that your the creator of the character if you shopped to DC. Just like with Zenescope or Image. You'll have control and rights to your universe. Royalty checks obviously is in that but like with Stanley and marvel you prolly have a life long link to how the character is treated. Because it's a company of creators who want that for themselves. And they want that for you.
