The year is situated sometime just before the death of Christ, perhaps 200 years or so. Somewhere beside a small, seemingly insignificant river in a forest, you find a little boy.
He seems friendly enough, though he is wary of you at first. He has a little trouble speaking his own language properly, and will stumble over it at times--please don't point this out as it seems to really embarrass him.
He often falls asleep at random, mumbling and sometimes singing in his sleep. He also cries easily, especially when things die. The child doesn't seem to be afraid of much, treating most things with open reverence rather than fear. He is also very sensitive to the atmosphere, and will beat the ground in tears if he senses bitterness or conflict. Though small, "Towis" displays an innate patience to grow things with a compassion that comes naturally to him. He is a bit gullible, and will stubbornly expect you to never lie to him. It is thanks to this willingness that he will do just about anything that is asked of him, and if he is betrayed...well, a German pastor leaving the area with a large bump on his head can elaborate if he ever comes to.
-Desires to be just as brave as Prūsai. [Old Prussia]
-Often makes references to "Gabija", his protective goddess and "Mama", his ancestors.
-Can "see" things and apparently understand trees to some extent.
-The dog's name is Seselė and she is very well-behaved, except around threats.
-Will pitch a German to a bear if they're mean. Just sayin'

Why, Belarus was here, she had no idea how she ended up here. This wasn't the place of where she was supposed to go. It was then her eyes glance over to the chibi with a gentle smile on his face, playing around in the fields.
"Mommy! Mommy! Look what I did, I made a flower crown!" Showing the crown to the bright blue sky, proud of himself.
She wasn't sure of how to approach the little one, or even how to act towards him. It was then she turned around to walk away from him, not even a greeting of a 'hello'.
But as she walks she steps on a twig by accident, and the chibi looks over to her.

The blond was in aisle 12, stocking shelves. He sighed, reflecting on how absolutely crummy his job was. He wanted to be out there! You know, doing something! Starring in movies, saving lives, exploring space! Something thrilling and impressive, something that would make women want him and guys want to be him! Unfortunately, being a Walmart employee and part time college student didn't really have that affect on anyone. Save for his younger cousins, who thought it was the coolest thing in the world to hand out a smiley face sticker to whoever walked through the door, but that wasn't really the kind of attention the American desired.
However, just in the middle of his personal pity party, he happened to glance up and spot a young child. No more than six at the very most. Nobody else was in the aisle, and Alfred knew that there was a fair share of creepers who lurked about stores, just waiting for a distracted mother to let her attention drift from her child for only a moment. That was all it took after all, only a moment. At least that was what they drilled into your skull in elementary school, although Alfred wasn't one to argue it.
