I've written poems from pictures & even the titles of pictures on here. I haven't written anything for about 2 years properly.

I'm more of an emotional...just...spill it all out there sort of writer. Writing for me.
Why the writers block?

You know her personally then? My wife & I have kind of chatted to her on her over a good few years now. She is certainly one of the more talented on here.
About the writers block, there's more than a few reasons I can figure for it. Some of it is depression & stress. Some of it (ironically) is actually being quite happy!!! [link]

I write okay when I am depressed, but not when stressed.

I used to love writing so much. I actually met my wife on a poetry site! We used to set each other picture/word prompts on what to write. My photography is somewhat of a wannabe hobby though. I'd love to get a better camera so I can play more! lol

Hey Nicole. No problem on the faves & the watch! You have simply a stunning gallery. I see that you do this professionally and I'm not surprised. It's not just photography, there's so much more said in what sometimes isn't in the pictures you take.
I need to ask your permission for something. I am a poet and would like to use one or two of your pictures as inspiration for a poem - a visual prompt. All credit will go to you on here and a link will be posted if you agree. I will say though that I might take a little longer than a couple of days though lol

Thank you very much both for your compliment and also your permission. I will explain now that sometimes my inspiration takes a while. This is partly due to the fact that it has been a while since I have written regularly. I will try it though and see what I come up with. When I post, I will always give credit and post a link to your picture. It would be rude not to. I am looking at using (perhaps) "Father and Son" and I also quite like "A Walk Through". If I'm lucky enough, I might even find the inspiration for both! lol

"And The Sun Will Set For You", "She Believed In Flight", "I'm Sorry I Met You Darling" all on page 5 finally "The Ghost Of You" on page 6.
I am an amateur photographer but would love to get more into it. I only have a glorified 'point & click' camera. Yes, it's a bit more advanced with some features but I can't afford a proper digital SLR. One day though because I love photography.
Anyway, I better go and get busy with the pen!
