FACTS AND HEADCANONS:

1. She is the 4th most richest city in Europe, along with London, Paris and Moscow

2. She has a sweet tooth, Madrid is quite known for pastries and sweets, such as churros (and you thought they were mexican xD) and a typical candy from Madrid named ¨Violeta¨, which is a purple sweet in the shape of a violet www.google.com/imgres?num=10&h… ,

3. In the 2nd of may in 1808 she rebelled against France when he tried to occupy her, this was the first event of the Spanish War of Independence. Nowadays this day is known as Madrid Day or El Dia de la Comunidad de Madrid, and every 2nd of May the citizens of Madrid celebrate this event by doing many cultural activities or giving flowers to the dead heroes.

4.Madrid has a pet bear cub, this is because the symbol of Madrid is a bear, its in Madrid's coat of arms and theres even a statue of that bear in the city...kind of like the mascot...here is the link: [link]

5. She replaced Toledo (Spain's former capital)...this explains why they don't get along so well...and why Toledo seems to have a grudge against her

6. Despite her cheerful nature inherited from her Father, she is also seen as a snob, due to the glamorous surroundings of her city AND the stereotype of the citizens. She may seem cheerful and nice, but when it comes to fashion, parties, eating and drinking etc. she'll always fuss and act very snobby.
