i guess.. i'm just not into anime as much as before ;w;
this is probably the longest hiatus i've ever had in my life owo im still trying... lol
Instead of deviantart, i'm active on instagram more -- more updates and sketches that i dont feel permitted to submit on deviantart because of the art quality X'D

my art standards also went SUUPPERRR high so whatever i draw i feel like it's not enough for posting it on deviantart owo

Ahhh...

But I do wish you'll still have the motivation to draw things... Because I promise that someday you'll get envy to some people who can draw better and You'll regret that you couldn't draw better anymore...

Aaaand It's a big mistake for some artists...



Based on my previous experience when I started drawing anime(when I was 9) I usually motivate myself by learning new things. anatomy, clothes, colors and etc...

Even though my art's like crap because I was 9, I keep practicing until I'm satisfied. I am not afraid to ask critics from my classmates, parents, friends, and even strangers around DA (while using this cringe account redcutebird)

I never give up when it comes to drawing. Because It's my passion. It's part of my life. It copes my depression or even makes me feel unique and special too. I don't care about other's opinions. Because I often cover my ears on there stupid and useless things in my art like "Your art is a total Sh**" 


I don't like someone forced me to quit art. It's my passion just like what I've said. I don't care about it. It's my style. If my style is kiddy crap like drawing, IDC. All I know I'm proud to myself but I hate myself aaaand I'm not narcissistic


I often experiment on new pens, brushes, colorings, washi tapes, etc. I often buy 'em. (and my washi tapes are approx 17 of them xD)


Until now, I did that and won't stop even my parents forced me to work on Speech path... I'm bad at speaking especially kids


They won't understand my conditions...
Aaaand, I also found out that I have Phantasia.... It's a condition where you can't see images inside your head nor visualize it


I. Have. That

Strangely enough, I'm an artist xD


And If it's because of school, try to balance it :>

Just give 30 mins for drawing. Every day
also, start learning new things so you won't lose out!

Buuuut, idk if this went off the topic of your loss of motivation in drawing but hope this helps.... sowwy if it's long crap like EH >w<
