Oh, cool! Well it's nice to hear from you then, thanks! ^^ And hehe, yep, I sure do! They're basically my best friends so I'm talking with them nearly every day. Most of us are still playin' in pony games together still, even. Though, one of them just left to join the military today, so, sadly I won't be able to talk with him for a good 9 weeks or so

But hey, it'll be okay, I'll definitely be there waiting for him when he gets out. Life can't keep good friends separated for long, after all (okay I'm done being corny)

I've actually used a few different systems! But my favorite, and the main system I usually play in is the Savage World My Little Pony conversion, which you can get for free here: [link]

The game is set up like any normal campaign would be; there's anywhere from 4-6 players, and we have a GM who runs sessions for us weekly. We all meet up online at an appointed time and do 99% of the playing via text in an IRC channel. When we need to roll dice for something, there's any number of online dicerollers available to use. It's really quite fun!

There's actually a forum dedicated to organization and running of pony RPGs using that system, if you were interested at all in checking it out. [link]

Character creation rules can be found in the rulebook [link] here, starting on page 7. When you're actually making your character, you can either use the big character sheet in the back of the book, or you can use the much easier online version on googledocs! [link] Just duplicate that sheet so you can edit it, and you should be good to go with making a character! If you'd like, I can also help walking you through actually making a character if you need help and have skype or something.

As for individuals to play with; there's the forum I had mentioned and linked to in my previous post that exists for the purpose of organizing campaigns: [link] It's quite literally only a couple weeks old at this point, but there's already 2 games currently being set up for possibly being run in the future. You can also try to make your own with your friends, if they're also into tabletop stuff!

The only software you'll really need to play is some sort of IRC client. But, that varies from game to game. I think some groups like to run through skype, or steam chatrooms, or what have you. Mostly I see them take place on IRC though. Lemme know if you have any other questions
