Oh yeah, I'm still in highschool, only for one more year though, and then I'm off to a medical college. I'm pretty obsessed with the human body and anatomy, and I've been planning to become a cardiothoracic surgeon for 10 years already hehe

I'm working in a hospital myself, but as an executive haha, helping to plan medical courses for resident docs (in the O&G field)

Woah, that must be awesome! Even though you're not doing it yourself, I bet the atmosphere you get to feel is absolutely amazing.
Oh this is maybe kinda funny, but since I was around 7 years old, I started watching medical dramas. And my parents didn't mind it at all, so along with cartoons as every child, I also watched a lot of medical shows in general. I told them at the age of 8 that I was planning to become a doctor, preferably a surgeon. At first they didn't take it so seriously because I was so small and they thought it will pass with time, but it obviously didn't haha. As I grew, I didn't only watch the dramas, I started doing research and read books on my own. And when I started going to highschool even more opportunities opened to me because of my amazing biology professors. I often have the chance to get my hands dirty, dissect hearts and kidneys, and go on different medical themed lectures. I do have a new lecture on a medical college in just 2 week in fact... On top of everything though, I think a big feature is that I was never afraid or disgusted by anything in the human body, I often just get overwhelmed by how our body is structured. And I do find the beauty in things people do find ugly, so holding a heart in my hands gives me a beautiful feeling and there are times my hands shake of the excitement I'm in. (it only lasts a minute or two though haha) For the past two years, I'm also very active in the Red Cross and I'm one of the mentors/teachers there. I give first aid lessons and am a judge at the first aid competitions we held here.

was just really moved by your explanation about wanting to do medicine. Forgive my bad memory, but are you already enrolled in a medicine degree, or still in high school? o: 

also I know what you mean, I'm not queasy about seeing stuff about the human body too (well at least for the internal organs; I get queasy about skin conditions ahhh). Wish you the best in pursuing your passion!! (:

Also, I wanted to say that you do great work with oil on canvas. I do use the canvas a lot myself, but I never tried doing anything with oil.
